Last night at LIFE TEEN we started our new semester on the Sacraments.  The night started off with Lynne finding out she was a new contestant on Survivor when second-class host Jerry Probst came out during the announcements.  But then it went downhill when she was kidnapped by a scary tribal guy with a big stick!  

In the hall all the youth and Core team were given their torches to represent life, their life in the game!  Three lucky teens entered into the contest with the big scary tribal dude and competed in a rock inspection, water chugging and finally a yucky food challenge!  For the recipe please contact Brad! =D

We got a talk on what Sacraments are about and then broke off into small groups to break open what kind of rituals we have, what they mean to us and what Sacraments really are. 

It was a great kick-off to the new semester!  What’s up next week at LIFE TEEN?  Well, we are getting Food Poison!  (Not really!)  Father James Mallon is our special guest!  You don’t want to miss this night!

Oh, and don’t forget that Cornerstone is happening THIS Friday night at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church Hall from 7 to 9 PM!  All are welcome to attend!  There will be shirts from Steubenville for sale..and I’m told CHEAP!!

That’s right…  Only 4 more sleeps until Cornerstone at Saint Thomas Aquinas!!!  This Friday night starting at 6:30 we will be having our Lenten Cornerstone and we have a very special guest!  None other than Catholic Hip-Hop Artist and last year’s Steubenville Atlantic’s host – Righteous B! 

All are welcome to attend this special night.  The night will start with the Stations of the Cross, Mass, talk by Righteous B, Adoration, and music performed by Righteous B and our LifeTeen Halifax Music Ministry!

Sunday night was our 4th Anniversary of Youth Ministry at STACM.  We’d like to thank everyone who came out and showed their support.  We’d also like to thank everyone who’s been involved with the Youth Ministry programs, past and present for all the hard work, effort and love they put in each week.

This upcoming Sunday we take a look at Lent and what it’s all about.  You don’t want to miss this night!  Also, there will be a parent meeting during the Life Night.  If you can’t make it please let Brad know!

And in case you haven’t heard…  Righteous B is coming to Saint Thomas Aquinas Parish for Cornerstone on Friday, March 6th!  It’s going to be an amazing night!  It will start at 6:30 and end around 9:30 with social time in the Hall afterwards.  The night will include:  Mass, Stations of the Cross, Adoration, Praise and Worship and more!  All are welcome to attend!
