No you are not having a serious case of deja-vu! Yes, I have a post last week about the ‘Class of 2009′ but that was the ‘Confirmation Class’. This ‘Class of 2009′ refers to our youth that graduated from high school last week and thus means that they are either joining the LifeTeen Core Team or heading off to other interesting ventures.
We also said good-bye but not so long to two very special Core Team members. Lisa and Kealey are leaving for different reasons. It was a difficult night because I really don’t like saying good-bye. They have promised though to pop in when they can – although Lisa will be in Pittsburg…. Brad and I wish you two all the best and God Bless!
So it’s now the summer and we are on to our summer programming. So when you say you’re bored we have the solution!
LifeTeen continues throughout the summer. We are running the T3 Bible Study during the Life Nights. This is an excellent series that stars LifeTeen’s own Mark Hart. LifeTeen is open this summer only for teens that will be starting in grade 7 in September to those teens entering grade 12.
Starting on July 6th and every Monday after that except the Holiday Monday in August will be Hanging Out with Brad and Lynne at Canadian Martyrs from 1-4pm. This coming Monday we will be painting the office and redoing the ‘Wall of Shame’ and ‘Wall of Fame’ walls. Teens entering grades 7-12 are invited each week.
And lastly, for 7 weeks starting Tuesday July 7th we are running the Quest video series at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church Hall from 6:30 to 8 pm. We will be having pizza for supper so please bring $2 to help pay for the pizza. This is a great video series. Teens entering grades 7-12 are invited. Bring a friend!
Please feel free to contact Brad or Lynne for any info on these programs.
God Bless and have a great Canada Day looooong weekend! See you Sunday!
