Are you still waiting????

Our Life night was a night all about waiting – waiting for Jesus, that is.  Yep, it was a night about Advent!  We started the night off with a ‘new year’s eve’ party and countdown to mark the start of the new year.  No, I’ve not lost my mind!  This coming Sunday is the start of our new liturgical year!

Will gave us a great talk on Advent and what it’s all about.  It’s not uploaded yet to our YouTube page but hopefully it will be up soon.  After Will’s talk we channeled our inner Martha Stewarts and got crafty!  We made our own Advent wreaths that include weekly goals.

Hi all! Just a quick note about our awesome retreat…and only a quick note as I’m very sleepy! I promise a more detailed write-up later!
Anyway, it was an awesome weekend. Photos will be uploaded on the Flickr account shortly but if you can’t wait to see them check out Brad’s Facebook page to see them all.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all the people who gave up their weekend – whether it was just for an hour to help feed us or more to run a workshop, give a talk, Core team – we couldn’t have done it without you! And a big THANKS to the teens that came and MADE the weekend!
Please remember that there will be NO Life Night tonight, November 15th. We will return next weekend for a night about Advent!

This weekend LifeTeen Halifax presents an original retreat called MASSive in which we will break open the Mass. Please be at STA between 6:30 PM and 7 PM tonight for registration. Reminder for parents that pick-up on Sunday is Noon.

Please pray for the teens, Core, Music Ministry, everyone presenting a talk or workshop and all our parent helpers.

Due to the retreat this weekend we will not be having a Life Night on Sunday. There will still be Mass at 6:30 PM but no Life Night. Life Night’s will resume on the 22nd.
